What an excellent way to start a vacation!

44 years old and I grew up and worked in or around the airline and / or travel business most of my life and I finally get to see how the folks up front are treated. I get to do my fair share of traveling for both business and pleasure and always thought "ok, they get nice large seats and more legroom...", but it's so much more than that. I don't remember the last time, I ate an airplane meal in real dishes with real cutlery and real glasses, the glass kind, not the flimsy plastic ones. This makes a huge difference even only on 5 hour flight, I can only imagine first class to Asia or Australia....
Said 5 hour flight is now coming to an end. Thanks for this "first class" service to the crew. Descending into Samana. More news later folks...after we find out which hotel we'll be spending the week at...
